During my internship at Office for Metropolitan Architecture
I was responsible for communicating OMA’s design for a new office building, Apollolaan 171 on behalf of Kroonenberg Groep BV.
I created a 48 page booklet which explains the design from it’s
broader geographical context up to the smallest details through structural logic, graphic design, written text and photography.
One notable element is a transparent diagram, on the left page, which I designed. Paired with a short written piece, this diagram visually explains the reference to a 3D Japanese Jigsaw puzzle. It highlights the circulation core and showcases the building’s ‘wings’ transparently, allowing users to see through the structure
